FRANCINE R. YANCEY, ESQ.
(Attorney / Firm Owner)

Francine has over 15 years of experience practicing in the area of probate and estate planning. She founded her firm, now known as Brevard Probate, P.A., in 2012 after working with another local elder law attorney since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2008. Francine graduated with Honors from the University of Central Florida in 1999, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies. After working as a Paralegal for several years, mainly in the field of probate and guardianship, she began attending Florida A&M University College of Law in 2003.

In law school, Francine interned as a Guardian Ad Litem for two terms, representing the best interests of children in dependency proceedings at the Juvenile Justice Center in Orlando, FL. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2007, graduating in the top 10% of her class.

Francine is a 27-year resident of Brevard County. She currently lives in Melbourne with her two youngest children, Damian, and Ashten. Her favorite pastimes include bach days and game nights with her adult children and other family members.

CHRISTINE J. SMITH
(Paralegal)

Christine was born and raised in rural Upstate New York, moving to Florida in 2010 with her two grown children. After working for several years in the field of Customer Service, then for an Accounting firm, Christine decided she would like to pursue a career in Law. She became a member of the Brevard Probate team in January of 2021, and had completed her Paralegal Certification through Florida Gulf Coast University by July of 2021 .

Being a natural “people person,” Christine enjoys the connection with clients she experiences as an integral part of being a Paralegal with our firm.

During her time off, Christine spends most of her time with her three grandchildren.
